At Bluewater Health - Norman Site on Friday, January 16, 2009, PETER DARRYL LAWRENCE, age 70, of Sarnia, beloved husband of Celestina (Phyllis) (Tibbo) Lawrence. Dear father of Christine and Luc Desrosiers of St. Maurice, Quebec, Bonnie and Scot Bryce of Corunna, David Lawrence and Cheryl Reelis of Sarnia and grandfather of J.P. and Michelle O'Reilly, Eric Lawrence, Corey Lawrence, Chas Christensen, Cassandra Bryce and great grandfather of Hailey O'Reilly. Brother of Alan and Cindy Lawrence of Bala, Ontario, Nancy and Russ Zeniek of Wilkesport and Linda Irwin of Brights Grove and special brother-in-law to Anne and Abel Clarke of French Man's Cove, Newfoundland. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Marjorie and Francis Lawrence, brothers James, Jack and Neil, sister Donna Carter, brothers-in-law Keith Irwin and Nick Carter, sister-in-law Joanne Lawrence and niece Kerry Irwin. Peter was the Owner/ Operator of Lawrence Electric and he was an avid hunter and loved his summers spent in Newfoundland. Funeral service will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Monday, January 19th at 11:00 am. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon and evening from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Palliative Care Unit of Bluewater Health (cheques only please).
