Pearl Strangway

At Vision Nursing Home on Friday, June 3, 2011, PEARL ALBERTA (PARKER) STRANGWAY, age 92, of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late Harold Edward Strangway. Dear mother of Ronald Strangway and his wife Jackie of Sarnia, William Strangway and his wife Marian of Point Edward, Robert Strangway and his wife June and Bruce Strangway and his wife June all of Mooretown. Grandma was a special angel to her 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by a brother Merle and two sisters Nellie and Elsie, Mrs. Strangway was born at London, England, coming to Canada in 1921. She was retired as an R.N.A. from St. Joseph's Hospital and was the proud sponsor of two boys from Kenya for many years. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Monday, June 6 th. at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Margaret Bell officiating. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon and evening from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to Vision Nursing Home or the Sarnia and District Humane Society (cheques only please).
