In a life underscored by spirit and laughter she fought as often as she could silently and for decades successfully. Patricia Ann Harris (nee. Donahue) passed quietly on October 28, 2010 with her family at her side. Surrounded always by loving family and many adoring friends she marched proudly for 73 years through our lives. Life partner to her treasured husband Hartley Harris she was truly devoted to her man for over 56 years and yet to eternity. A life she would want celebrated for the many inspirations she supported, provided and applauded. Truly a one of a kind woman in her own image. She found the most humour in herself. The life of the party and often the inspiration. Some of her final words shared 'I love you. I have fallen but have not gone down. We can beat this' will remind us forever of her unbridled passion to spend life as an optimist. Pre-deceased to husband Hartley Ralph Harris, loving mother to Patricia Ann Harris-MacPherson and husband Michael and John Hartley Harris and wife Penelope, proud grandmother (Nana) to her five grandchildren Jonathan Harris, Carly Lund, David Harris, Lucas Lund and Madison Harris. Her loving sibling Jack Donahue & wife Shanley, Mary-Ellen & husband Steve Deising, Dennis Donahue and wife Lisa, Bill Donahue & Wife Darlene will dearly miss their sister. Patricia Ann, we promise on every level from your husband to all the children and grandchildren you created in this world to keep the spirit alive on earth in your honour and to our benefit. We miss you however we want you to know your efforts here on earth will last forever. This is a better world because you were on it. You will forever and always be in our hearts, lives and prayers. Often proclaiming that 'I wouldn't change it a bit' enjoyed her life and family fully. Let's celebrate this truly great woman as a Nana, mother, loving wife and loyal friend. There will be a service at Saint Pius in London Ontario at 2:00pm immediately followed by a celebration of life on November 30, 2010. Nana would have wanted an Irish wake with smiles and cheers ... we will give her that. Arrangements entrusted to the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE.
