HASTINGS, Olive Daisy - At Bluewater Health on Saturday, November 5, 2011, Olive Daisy (Hancock) Hastings, age 76, beloved wife of Wallace Herbert Hastings. Dear mother of Janet Galizia (Mario) of Toronto, Jim Gudrie (Liz) of Sarnia, Joanne Allen (Keith) of Burlington, Diane Slack (Brian) of Sarnia, Darlene Butts (Ron) of Kingsville and Jennifer Benjamin (Dave) of Dealtown. Mother in law of Will Pugh, predeceased by daughter Debbie Pugh and granddaughter Lisa Pugh. Step mother of Sandy Prideaux (Chris), Sharon Edgar (Paul) and Lynda Gidge (Sheldon). Loving grandmother of 23 and 7 great grandchildren. Sister of Maisie Parsons of Newfoundland, Frank Hancock Jr. (Diana) of Wallaceburg and Eric Hancock (Priscilla) of Calgary. Born in Newfoundland, Olive has resided in the Sarnia -Point Edward area for more than 60 years and was a member of St. Paul's United Church. Funeral service will be held from ST. PAUL'S UNITED CHURCH, 360 Devine St., on Tuesday, November 8th at 11:00 am. Cremation will follow. Visitation will take place at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Monday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 pm and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 am until time of service. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Paul's United Church or a charity of choice.
