Muriel Leone Mattingley

MATTINGLEY, MURIEL - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Muriel Leone Mattingley (Zink) on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in her 94th year. Muriel was the beloved wife of the late David "Bruce" Mattingley (1988). Muriel is the cherished mother of Tom Mattingley (Monica), Donna Prozorowicz (Jan), Carol Crombeen (Rick) and John Mattingley (Ruth). She was adored by her grandchildren Chris Prozorowicz (Lindsay), Kim Swan (Erik), Erin Jolicoeur (Marc), Allison Crombeen (Dave Collins), Bill Mattingley (Amanda Cooper), Jeff Mattingley (Leah) and Megan Bubb-Clarke (Tim) and was a very special grandma to eleven great-grandchildren. Muriel was predeceased by her brother Robert Zink, her sister Dorothea Vanderburg and daughter in-law Joanne Mattingley. Muriel led an active, loving and faithful life. Through the years Muriel was a key organizer and member of seniors skating, as well as a regular participant in aerobics and walking groups. She lived for her family and will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity and her unconditional love. Muriel's family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Bluewater Health and the Somerset staff at Afton Park for their kind and compassionate care. Private family visitation and funeral services will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 102 Victoria Street N., Sarnia, N7T 5W9. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
