Monta Simpson

Monta Jean Simpson (Cusack) formally of Mooretown passed away with family by her side at Bluewater Health on Friday Oct 15, 2010 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Paul Simpson. Loving mother of Bill Simpson and his wife Carol, Fred Simpson and his friend Julie Bouchard. Cherished grandmother of Lisa Pinsonneault (Erik), John Pinsonneault (Krista) Loving great-grandmother (Nana) of Larissa, Pierce, Caleb, Seth. Dear sister of Pauline Illman(Jack). Loving niece Heather Laker (Kevin) and nephew Doug Illman(Brenda). Monta devoted her entire life to her husband and family. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her weekly bible study with Joyce and the girls and voluteered her time to the St James Apostle Prayer Group. We would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Micheal Steosser and Dr. Ballachandra. Thank you to all the nurses on 5th floor London, Mom thought the world of you and loved you all. A very special thank you to the nurses on 5th floor Norman. Your compassion and kindness in the care of our mother in her last days will never be forgotten. You showed her respect and dignity and treated her like one of your own. Resting at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE where services will be held on Tuesday October 19th at 11:00 am with the Rev. David Hewitt officiating. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. The Simpson family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from the hours of 7 to 9 pm. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Bluewater Health or The Salvation Army.
