It is with broken hearts the family of Michael Howson of Sarnia, sadly announce his peaceful passing on February 7th, 2025 in Roatan, Honduras, at age 62.
Mike will be dearly remembered by a sister Roxanne (Steve), nieces Nicole (David) and Samantha (Sean), a sister Wendy (Bryan) and nephews Alex and Adam. Predeceased by his parents Ron Howson (1998) and Donna Howson (2022).
He leaves behind his beloved furbabies, Coug, Gibby, Lucy Lou and all the backyard critters. His devotion to nature and all animals was unwavering.
Mikes lifelong passion for baseball began at an early age and ended with bad knees and a National Championship Win. He loved every team from the sports town of Boston.
Mike will be terribly missed, he was a great friend to everyone he met here at home and on his world travels. He spoke very highly of his workmates at Suncor, being a loyal and hard worker. Speaking of great friends, we can’t thank Scotty, Rod and Mark enough for bringing Mike home.
Cremation has taken place in Honduras and a Celebration of Life will take place at the Moose Lodge #1046, 874 Philip Street, Sarnia, on Saturday April 19th, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
It would be fitting to raise a glass of your favourite beverage and celebrate Mike.
Memorial donations to a local pet rescue or pet charity of choice would be appreciated.
Memories and messages of condolence may be sent to the family through djrobb.on.ca
