Mazie Moon

Mazie Moon - Peacefully at Trillium Villa, Sarnia Ontario, Sept 12/2020 in her 97 year. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Moon, much loved and cherished Mom to Greg (Lyne) and Dave (Judy). Loving Grandma to Jeremy. She is predeceased by her sister Brenda of Alliston, and brother George of London. Mazie was raised in the Dresden area, moved to London to study and work as a beautician (hairstylist), there she met and married Bill, ultimately moving to Sarnia to reside and raise a family. Brenda and Mazie enjoy international travel and of course shopping. Mom loved gardening, dress making, and collecting antiques. She carried herself with quiet grace, and tried to see the humour in life. 

Due to the current social distancing climate and respecting Mazie's wishes, a private family gravesite ceremony will be held at Lakeview Cemetery (Monday Sept 21 @ 1pm), a memorial for family and friends will be held at the Pavilion east of the Canatara Park Children's Animal Farm (Monday Sept 21 @ 2pm)

The family would like to express their thanks to all the great caregivers at Trillium Villa that became like family for the 5 years Mazie was in residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada (dementia). Messages of condolence and memories may be sent through www.djrobb.on.ca
