May McCarthy

Suddenly at her residence on Friday, November 19, 2010, B. MAY (DUNN) McCARTHY, age 85, of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late Jim McCarthy. Dear mother of Jim McCarty and his wife Linda, Dan McCarty and his wife Jan and Vicky Hodgson all of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Brian (Tracy), Tracey (Darryl), Jennifer (Dean), Kenny, Michelle (David) and Trevor (Paula). Great-grandmother of Tyler, Jessie, Christie, Josh and Haley. Great-great grandmother of Aliyah. Pre-deceased by a son-in-law Larry Hodgson, a grandson Michael McCarty and a brother Joseph Pete. A lifelong Sarnia area resident, Mrs. McCarthy was a retired custodian with the Lambton County Board of Education. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Wednesday, November 24 th. at 11:30 a.m. with Angela MacDonald officiating. Interment of ashes to follow at Our lady of Mercy Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Sarnia and District Humane Society.
