Mary Hilda Odorizzi

Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at Trillium Villa Nursing Home on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, Mary Hilda Odorizzi, age 81, of Sarnia passed away. She was the loving wife of 65 years to John and cherished mother of Randy, Wendy (Jamie) and Kim, mother in law of Brian. Precious grandmother to Lee (Sara), Tiana, Scott, Nick, Shannon and great-grandmother to Avaia, Alikae and Aurora. Sister to Theresa, Jackie, Desmond and Kevin. She is predeceased by her parents Theresa and John, her brother Johnny, and daughters Sheri and Marianne. Mom retired from the Saint Clair Catholic School Board as a Custodial Foreman after many years of service.  Our Mother was definitely the glue that held our family together. She loved to have big family gatherings, no matter what the occasion; our Mom truly loved her family.  Mom loved to cook & bake and had a small catering business after retiring from the school board.  There was nothing for our mom to cook a turkey on a random Monday and call us all over for dinner, just to get us together.  Our mother was a super shopper and yard saler, always looking for that perfect bargain. Mom’s favourite time of year was Christmas.  She loved the house all decorated, the noise and confusion with a houseful of people. She also loved the shopping channel. I could go on and on. We love you with all our hearts Mom, we will miss you every day. A special thanks to the staff of Trillium Villa Nursing Home for the care and compassion that you showed Mom. Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our niece Chrissy for all the visits, treat and phone calls, Mom truly appreciated it.  Mom, you are one of a kind.

Cremation has taken place. The family will be announcing a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 102 N.
