Peacefully, surrounded by her family at Marshall Gowland Manor on Thursday, October 20, 2011, MARY BEATRICE MITCHELL McCAW, nee PARKES, age 89, of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late Douglas Mitchell (1956) and Morley McCaw (1991). Dear mother of Adrianne Bruce (John) of Camlachie, Wendy Lynas (Andrew) of Burlington, Denise Stieger (Jay) of Calgary, Georgina McCaw of Sarnia, Teri Brownlee (Chuck) of Sarnia and daughter of the heart Vera Latawiec (Chester) of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Ian Fox, Bryan Bruce, Kym, Bruce, Shannon Pitcher, Mark Lynas, Cerise Lynas, Brooke Fisher, Kiersten, Lauren, Tarilyn Stieger, Michelle Todorovski, Lisa Gallagher, Chris Brownlee and Sonja Latawiec. Twenty five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive. Sister of Dorothy Sargant in England. Loved and will be missed by dear friends Geri Johnson and Gladys George. Predeceased by grandson Douglas Robert Fox (1997). Cremation has taken place. Friends may meet with the family at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Friday, October 28th from 12:00 noon until a time of remembrance at 1:00 pm. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the C.N.I.B. or a charity of your choice.
