Martha Inkpen

At St. Joseph's Hospice on Thursday, November 25, 2010, MARTHA E. (LEGGE) INKPEN, age 66, of Sarnia, beloved wife of H. Donald Inkpen. Dear mother of Duane Inkpen and his wife Leslie and Paula Foster all of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Justin, Abigail and Molly Inkpen. Dear sister of Donald Legge and his wife Dona and Ludwick (Lud) Legge and his wife Rowena all of Garnish, Newfoundland and Betty Simmons and her husband Ross of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Sadly missed by her dog Grunt. Pre-deceased by her parents Robert and Susie Legge, a sister Ernestine Cheeseman and two infant brothers Don and Bruce Legge, Mrs. Inkpen was born at Garnish, Newfoundland and had resided in the Sarnia area for the past 45 years. An Avon sales representative for 15 years she also served as a canvasser for the Canadian Cancer Society and was a team captain for over 20 years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE on Monday, November 29 th. at 11:00 a.m. with Major Rick Pollard of the Salvation Army officiating. Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Joseph's Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society (cheques only please).
