Marion Eileen Reese

 Peacefully with her family by her side at Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, Marion Eileen (Gillespie) Reese passed away in her 93rd. year. Predeceased by her beloved husband William Albert Reese (2013).  Dear mother of Patricia Lauzon (Marcel) of London, Barbara Bell-Leaver (David Bell) of Sarnia and Donna Hemingway (Neil) of Stratford. Loving grandmother of Leanne Martin (Jason), Michelle Baptista (Steven), Richard Leaver (Melanie), Ben Leaver, Dan Leaver (Shaylene) and Joel Hemingway (Kim) and 8 Great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents James and Carrie Gillespie (nee Parker) and  siblings; Russel (Laura), Helen Gamble (Bill), Ken (Jean). Mom was raised in Corunna and graduated from S.C.I.T.S. High school in Sarnia. Mom and Dad were married in 1943 and raised their family in the Sarnia area. Mom enjoyed gardening and loved her animals including the horses she and Dad raised over the years. Marion enjoyed volunteering with various horse clubs throughout Lambton County.  She enjoyed her many friends and activities while she resided at the Anne Hathaway Retirement Residence in Stratford in her final years. Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside and a celebration of life will take place. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre.
