At Trillium Villa Nursing Home on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, Marion Kathleen (Taylor) Battle, age 78, of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late Norman Battle (1998). Dear mother of Rob Battle and his wife Denise and Gayle White and her husband Shaun. Cherished grandmother of Joe Battle and his wife Jana, Nicole Pool and her husband Dave, Deanna and Tamara and great grandmother of five great grandchildren. Dear sister of Florence (late Bob) Wright, Dorothy (late Len) LaFond, Loreen (Lloyd) Campbell, Viola (Gerald) Smith, Helen (late Gary) Grove, Valerie (late Norm) Anderson and Harold (Linda) Taylor. Predeceased by her parents Clarke and Mae Taylor, brother William and sisters Margaret Smith and Leta Thorne. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, July 27th at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, sympathy donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
