Marilyn Dorothy Rae Rowe

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Marilyn Dorothy Rae (Stevens) Rowe, age 87, of Petrolia. Marilyn passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Bluewater Health Petrolia. She was born in Petrolia, ON on Sept 21, 1937 to Charlie and Dorothy Stevens. Marilyn was a beacon of love, and strength, always putting the needs of her family first. A cherished member of the Taoist Tai Chi Society and Figure Skating communities in Sarnia, she leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness.

Predeceased by her husband Kenneth Rowe (2021) and two brothers Charles Stevens (2017) and Rick Stevens (2013).

Surviving are her sister Charlene (Ray) Tuplin, sister-in-law Stella (Charles) Stevens, children Steve Rowe, Cindy Rowe Smith, Robert Rowe, grandchildren Jennifer (Craig) Boudreau, Kristi Metzler-Rowe, Kenny Rowe, Jonathon (Stephanie) Rowe, Jordan Rowe and great grandchildren Cynthia Boudreau, Bryson Boudreau, Cecilia Rowe, Remington Rowe and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre Ltd. (102 Victoria Street, North, Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9) on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 1:30pm with visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sarnia & District Humane Society, www.sarniahumanesociety.com, in her memory.
