Marielle Royal

ROYAL, MARIELLE - Marielle Royal, age 71 of Sarnia, peacefully passed away on Wednesday March 15, 2017 at the St. Joseph’s Hospice. She was born to the late Albert Gendron and Lilianne Gendron on June 5, 1945 and will be joining them along with her late best friend Larry Cunningham and late husband Tom Royal. Marielle was a dedicated member of the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club for many years where she made many lifelong friends. Marielle also spent most of her adult life as a member of the Blue Mountain Ski club and not only enjoyed but excelled in playing cards. Family and close friends were Marielle’s passion and delight. She will be missed by all. Marielle leaves behind her children Laurie, Alan and Heather Cunningham, grandchildren Lynn and Jennifer Brownlee and Mitchell and Spencer Cunningham, great grandchildren Jesse Brownlee, Kaydence Perkins, Kodee and Landon Brownlee. Marielle is also survived by many cherished lifelong friends. A memorial gathering for friends and family will be held at the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club (500 Errol Rd. W., Point Edward) on Wednesday, July 5th, 2017 between the hours of 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s Hospice of Sarnia Lambton or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
