Marie Williamson

Williamson, Marie – ( May 15, 1928 – July 25, 2021) – At Bluewater Health on Sunday, July 25, 2021, Marie Williamson, age 93 of Sarnia passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Marie is predeceased by her loving husband Carl Williamson (2016). Loving mother of Karen (Pat) Voegelin, Kevin (Donna) Williamson, Cindy (Bert) Robertson. She was the loving Nana of Tyler Hall (Michelle), Kayla (Todd) Maw, Daniel (Erica) Williamson, Jessica Williamson, Sarah Robertson, and Benjamin Robertson. Loving Great Nana of Autumn, Owen, Future and a soon to arrive great grandson. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Jessie Wilson, and brothers, Kenneth (Betty), Clayton (Myrtle), Robert (Alice), Basil, sister Pat Edwards (Bill) and survived by sister in – law Maryann Wilson. Aunt Marie will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Marie had many years working experience at Home Hardware and in later years she catered many functions with her sister Pat throughout the Sarnia Community. Marie was a member of Dunlop Central United Church for many years. The family would like to thank the staff at Bluewater Health for their compassionate care and kindness. A special thank-you to Dr. Uppal, Dr. Nyholt , Care Partners, Community Paramedics and Tel-Check Program. The family would like to also acknowledge and thank her neighbours for their caring support over the years. Marie’s patience and kindness were known by many and she will be greatly missed.

“ Nana’s the name and spoiling’s the game”. Was the saying to which she stayed true. Whether you be a child, grandchild, neighbor, friend, or pet there was no place like Nana’s and it always felt like home.

Funeral services will be held at the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre Ltd (102 N. Friends and family may visit with the family on Wednesday, July 28th. from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Marie can be made to the Sarnia Humane Society or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
