Marie Sitter

At Afton Park Place on Monday, October 12, 2009, MARIE DELL SITTER, age 74 of Sarnia passed away. Dear sister of Margaret Langis and her husband Andre of Sarnia, special aunt of Kimberley Verge and her husband Bart of Sarnia and Holly Langis and her companion Larry Robinson of Petrolia, great aunt of Jon, Samantha, Leanna and Andrew Verge and Kyle and Justin Gallie, dear friend of Barbara Oldridge of Sarnia and her children Joan Baril (Bruce) and their children Tyler and Carly and Wayne Oldridge (Susan) and their children Jessica and John. She will be sadly missed by her cat Minnie. She was predeceased by her parents Margaret and Ken Sitter and her niece Pamela Dawn Gallie. Marie was a longtime member of St. John's Anglican Church, the church choir and the A.C.W. She retired in 1985 from Nova after many years of service. Funeral services will be held from St. John's Anglican Church (332 Devine St., Sarnia) on Friday, October 16th at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial gifts to St. John's Anglican Church Memorial Fund or Multiple Sclerosis Society - Sarnia Chapter would be appreciated. (Cheques only please).
