Marie Pinel

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospice on Friday September 3, 2010, Marie Catherine Pinel age 74 of Sarnia, Ontario. She was not only our mother but friend and guardian angel to Lise (Ward) Jackson of Point Edward, Ontario. Noreen Will and her partner Gord Duggan of Burlington, Ontario, Dawn Marie Lavallee of Burlington, Ontario and Jerry Lariviere of Sarnia, Ontario. Marie leaves behind cherished grandchildren Tracie Smith, Kelly Smith both of Sarnia, Ontario. Michael Will of New Glasgow Novia Scotia and his partner Debbie Preston, and grand daughter Caitlyn of Burlington, Ontario. Marie is also survived by great grandchildren Bridget, Devon, Avery and Alexandria. Marie was predeceased by husband Donald Lavallee. Also predeceased by her angel in life her best friend Rose Mc Laren (July 2010). We pray that Rose will be there to help Mom with her transition to eternal life. Marie spent the last years of her life doing what she loved, spending time with her precious family, including Rose and her family. Marie loved to laugh and loved to love her family. She will be eternally missed. The family would like to express heart felt thanks for Marie's gentle care to Dr. Glenn Madison, her home nurse Heather Mallott, the nurses at Bluewater Health 5th floor Palliative Care, and Jenn Glover and Diane Tenant from CCAC. A very special thanks to earth's angels of Marie's last days from St. Joseph's Hospice nurses Janis, Sheila, Rose, and Karen. At Marie's request, there will be no visitation. A private family service will take place with interment of ashes to be held for immediate family only. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donation to St. Joseph's Hospice Sarnia.
