Margaret Dodge

DODGE, Margaret May - At Trillium Villa Nursing Home on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the age of 76 years. Daughter of the late Ryerson John and Lila Mae Dodge, Margaret lived, worked and retired in Sarnia. A member of Parker Street United Church, she had through the years served as a youth leader, camp director, board member, trustee and choir member. She was a member of the UCW and also an original board member of the Diners Club held at Parker Street Church. Over the years, Margaret worked in a jewellery store, as church secretary, a sign shop secretary and silk screen painter, a flower shop clerk and floral designer and later owned and managed her own flower shop business. Margaret enjoyed life, her friends, music, cards, travelling and a good joke. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Wednesday, August 18th at 11:00 am. with Connie Ellis officiating. Interment to follow at Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:00 am until time of service. Expressions of sympathy may be made through donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Charity of Choice (cheques only please).
