Margaret Bird

At Bluewater Health on Wednesday September 5, 2012, MARGARET JANE BIRD nee(SHIPMAN) passed away. She will be greatly missed by her children Wenonah (Jackie) Bird, Timothy Bird, Aimee Bird, Lee-Anne and Trent Disel, Jolene Bird and the father of her children Byron Bird. Cherished grandmother of Nogiizhig, Arianna, Logan, Zoey, Alayna, Sadie, Zachariah and predeceased by infant grandson Isaac. Survived by brother Rennie Shipman and sister Darlene Shipman. Loving daughter of the late Eva Shipman and Johnson Peters. Margaret enjoyed quilting, traveling, hunting, time with her family ,her grand babies, bingo, and browsing goodie shops. Visitation will take place at the Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre (1972 Virgil Ave,) on Monday, September 10th , between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Maawn Doosh Guming Community Centre, ( 1972 Virgil Ave.) on Tuesday September 11th at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Doyle Perry. Interment at Walpole Island High Banks Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Community Sports Complex on Walpole Island. Donations in Margaret's memory can be made to Sarnia Goodwill Industries.
