Linda Louella Gatey

Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Campus on Monday, August 15, 2016, LINDA LOUELLA (Brown) GATEY, passed away at the age of 60 years. Dear mother to the late Derek Gatey (Brown) (2001), Elaine Brown, Dylan Brown (Chelsea Evans).Also will be missed by her siblings; Geraldine (McAlpine) Gatey and Todd Gatey. Loving grandmother to; Nicholas Sturch (Jessica), Austin Maitland- Brown (Jazzlynne), Kage Dwinnell, Tristan Brown, Gavin Brown and Kyra Evans. Will also be missed by her nephew David Gatey, Andrew Portiss,T.J. Gatey and niece Samantha Brown as well her Aunt Charlotte Boily and the late John Paul Boily and her Uncle Rod and Aunt Angela Campbell. Will also be missed by her special friends Annie Brown and Kathy Harvey (Fisher), Carlos and Diana Leite and her family in Eagle River. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Moose Lodge (874 Phlilip Street, Sarnia) from 2 :00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Sarnia & District Humane Society or Sarnia Suicide Prevention (Canadian Mental Health Association) would be appreciated by the family.
