Leona Sayers

SAYERS, LEONA – At Vision Nursing Home on Sunday, January 28, 2018, Anna “Leona” (Stonehouse) Sayers, age 88 of Sarnia passed away. She was the loving wife of the late George Rayburn Sayers and dear mother of Donald Sayers and loving grandmother of Brittany Sayers. She was predeceased by her parents John and Margaret (O’Neil) Stonehouse and her son Peter. Leona was born and raised in Sarnia and was a member of Dunlop United Church. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Friday, February 2nd, 2018 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service on Friday at 12:30 pm. Private interment will be held at Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations made in memory of Leona to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence may be sent through www.djrobb.on.ca
