Leon Hovencamp

HOVENCAMP, LEON THOMAS, beloved husband, father, papa and friend. At Bluewater Health on Monday, October 31, 2011, after a long and valiant battle with COPD, leukemia and bipolar disorder, Leon passed away. He is survived by his wife Teresa Morris, daughter Kaylan Bartholomew, son Mark Hovencamp, stepson Ken Morris and grandchildren Noah Bartholomew and Evan, Emily and Cody Morris. Retired from the Insulator's Local #95, Leon was a member of the Knights of Columbus and had volunteered with Bluewater Health and the Inn of the Good Shepherd. Cremation will take place. A celebration of Leon's life will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Thursday, November 3rd at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to a charity of choice.
