Lenard Wellington Lester

Peacefully at Bluewater Health on Thursday April 20, 2017 LENARD WELLINGTON LESTER age 77 of Sarnia.  Beloved husband of Patricia May (Huff) Lester.  Loving father of Connie Louks, Carmen Lamb and Patty Crawford.  Cherished grandfather of Courtney, Patrick, Katy, Justin, Trisha, Christopher, Madison, Kiera and great grandson Jayden.  Dear brother of Eva Robertson, Bruce Lester, Jean Stewart, Murray Lester and Joyce Philp.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his father Earl Douglas Lester (1971), mother Kathleen Margaritte Lester (2012), brothers Kenneth (1966) and Douglas (1991) and daughters Pamela Ann Murphy (2002) and Janet Diane Lester (1995).  Lenard retired from Canada post after  35 years of service, but more importantly he was a Santa Claus for many years.   Resting at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE where the family will receive friends on Sunday April 23rd between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.  Cremation will follow. Funeral Services for Lenard Lester will be held at All Saints Anglican Church (formerly St. George’s, 248 Vidal Street North) in Sarnia on Saturday April 29th at 11am.  Interment to follow at Moore Union Cemetery in Mooretown (179 Moore line, between River Road and Highway 40). Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Lambton Lung association.
