RICHARDSON, Kenneth "KR" - For golfers in Heaven, be prepared to be challenged. KR has come to play. Having had at least 4 hole in ones, his last at age 90. It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Kenneth Richardson KR. Ken was an active golf & curling member as well as a past president of the SCCC for many years. Ken was also active in the VON, Golden Kiwanis, Big Brothers, Meals on Wheels as well as at Trinity Anglican Church. He was also a 2nd Lieutenant in the Highland Light Infantry. Ken spent several years in the Insurance business & joined the CAA in 1964 in Kitchener but ended his career as the Manager of CAA in Sarnia in 1986. As a teenager Ken won the Canadian Junior Speed Skating Championship in 1935. He is survived by the love of his life, wife Helen, one daughter Janice Ryan, Barrie, 2 Grandsons, Kevin Sr. (Christy), Savannah, GA & Dr. Jason (Angie), Statesboro, GA & 5 beautiful great-grandchildren: Kevin Jr., Kelly, Sullivan, Delaney & Brynnley all in Georgia. Many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by brothers Lloyd & Commander Charles & sisters Annie, Gerty & Betty. Favorite expression when he saw his beautiful great-grandsons wives was "HELLO HONEY". A celebration of life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society & the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario. Arrangements entrusted to the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE. Memories and messages of condolence may be sent through www.djrobb.on.ca
