At St. Joseph's Hospice in Sarnia on Thursday, June 19, 2014, KATHLEEN LUCILLE (KIMBALL) McPHAIL passed away at the age of 93. She was the dear wife of the late Gordon Alexander McPhail (1984) and loving mother of Douglas McPhail and his wife Gayle, Virginia Fisher and her Husband Peter and Dan McPhail and his wife Shelley, grandmother of Scott (Kerri), Kim (Mike) and Kerri, Tearoha (Henrique) and Tyler (Lori), Courtney, Alex (Haley) and Katie (Brock), 12 great-grandchildren, sister of William Kimball and special niece and friend Sharon Morphew. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her parents Tressa and William Kimball, her grandson Jason McPhail, sisters Viola Chapman, Marion Pusey and Norine Marlatt. She was the longest standing member of Canon Davis Memorial Anglican Church, member of the ACW. Kay retired from Sears Canada after 25 years of service. A celebration of her life will be held on, Saturday, June 28th at 11:00 am. at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE. Private family committal services will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation begins at the funeral at 10:00 am until service time on Saturday. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph's Hospice or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
