Katheryn (Kathie) Ann McDonald

At Bluewater Health on Sunday, October 26, 2014, KATHERYN ANN (O'RAE) McDONALD, age 67 of Sarnia passed away with her family at her side. She was the dear wife of Roderick (Rod) McDonald and loving mother of Kimberley (Kim) Ann Paret and her husband Steve, grandmother of Kaitlin (Jason), Travis and Mackie, great-grandmother of Jace and Tyler, sister of Chuck O'Rae (Sonya), Mary Ellen L'Heureux (Bob), John O'Rae (Marcia) and Peggy Cole, daughter in law of Gladys McDonald, sister in law of Dennis McDonald (Janice), Moe Stuckey and David Stuckey. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Cecilia O'Rae and her father in law J. D. McDonald. Kathie had retired from teaching after 34 years of service with the Catholic School Board and was a member of Sacred Heart Parish of Sarnia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (1465 Lecaron Ave.) on Thursday, October 30th at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. In Lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy expressed through donations to the MS Society would be appreciated by the family.
