Karl Daniel Hennick

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karl Daniel Hennick on July 2, 2024 at 58 years old, peacefully and surrounded by his family. He is survived and will be forever missed by his loving wife of 36 years, Kathy (nee Piggott), his sons Kyle, Kris (Meranda) and Karson (Jacqueline), and grandchildren Jaxsen, Ava, Owen, and Marcus. 

Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Gerhard Hennick. Survived by siblings Mark Hennick (Cheryl), Greg Hennick , and Wendy Hennick; Don Piggott (Carol), Peggy Scott (Gary) and Debbie Field (John) and many nieces and nephews. 

Karl was first and foremost a loving husband and father, family was everything to him. He had a great love of Nascar, football, and soccer. For many years he co-coached his boys’ soccer teams with Kathy. He loved gardening and the outdoors and was an avid reader. Spending time with his family and gathering them together was one of his greatest joys. He worked for many years as a supervisor for Lyndon and then Paladin Security. 

As per Karl’s wishes, private cremation arrangements have taken place. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to donations can be made on his behalf to the Autism Society of Ontario www.autismontario.com, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation www.heartandstroke.ca. Arrangements have been entrusted to the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre Ltd. (102 Victoria Street, North, Sarnia, Ontario N7T 5W9).
