Karen Elizabeth Saar

At Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, March 2, 2025, Karen Elizabeth (Brain) Saar, age 65, passed away. She was the loving mother of Katlyn Saar of Paris, sister of Catharine Bouchard Point Edward and Patricia Brain and Anne-Marie Adamek of Sarnia, niece of Bill Burgess (Judy), Sharon Burgess, Liz Keilt (Bunny), Alberta McCormack (Greg) and Jerry Brain, dear aunt of Kelly Bouchard (Taylor), Lindsay Bouchard, Shaelyn Adamek, Corinne Kershaw (Doug), Karl Adamek, great-aunt of John, Alex, Kennedy, Boden, Kinley, Oceanna and Arawyn. She was predeceased by her parents Norman and Catharine Brain and aunts and uncles.

A longtime “Point Girl”, Karen was actively involved with Point Edward Minor Athletics and she had recently retired from McDonalds, Christina Street where she worked for 12 years. For those wishing to do so any charitable donations made to Point Edward Minor Athletics would be appreciated by the family. 

Arrangements are entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9) where visitation will be held on Thursday evening, March 6, 2025 between the hours of 6:00 to 9:00 pm. A celebration of Karen’s life will be held at a later date.
