Judy Kay Davies (Houston)

March 15th, 1950 – January 7th, 2025

 On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Judy Kay (Houston) Davies, age 74 of Sarnia passed away. Judy’s life journey began in Port Huron, Michigan where she proudly graduated from Port Huron High School. She began her career in the accounting office of Sperry’s Department Store. After relocating to Sarnia, Ontario, Judy’s path shifted as she devoted herself fully to her family, embracing the roles of wife, mother, grandmother and eventually great-grandmother.

Judy was a beloved neighbor and friend, always willing to lend a listening ear. Her love for animals was evident in her devotion to her various pets over the years, particularly her dogs. But her kindness extended beyond her own backyard, as she formed special bonds with the wild birds and squirrels that visited her yard in flocks, drawn by her gentle spirit and generous heart.

Jud is lovingly survived by her children, Michael (Andrea) and James of Sarnia; her grandchildren, Micah, Thomas (Kaitlyn), Hayden and Griffin; her great-grandchildren, Harlyn and Boston; her close cousin, Siobhan Houston of Denver, Colorado. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Ann Houston of Port Huron, Michigan; her brothers, Charles and Gordon of Port Huron, Michigan and her close aunt, Eleanor Palmer of Long Beach, California. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Sarnia Humane Society through www.sarniahumanesociety.ca would be appreciated by the family.
