Joseph Gerald McAlpine

The family sadly announces the passing of Joseph Gerald McAlpine, age 90 of Sarnia on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Bluewater Health. He was the loving husband of Sharon (Thomas) McAlpine, father of Dan McAlpine (Delores) and Deborah McAlpine, step-father of Kim Dingman, William Sebastian, Steven Sebastian, grandfather of Joseph Battle, Nicole Pool, Carol, Raymond, John, Crystal and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Carmelle Kelley and Sharen McAlpine. He was predeceased by parents Gertrude and Wilfrid McAlpine, his twin brother Michael and his sister Stella Waluchow. He was a Developer and the Owner of Twin Pines Sarnia Construction. He sponsored and even coached the S.M.A.A Twin Pines hockey team and was an avid hockey fan. Private visitation and services for family and invited guests only will be held at the D. J Robb Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 102 N. Victoria St., N7T 5W9 on Friday, August 25th, 2023 at 11:00 am. It will be followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 noon.
