Joseph Baxter

After a brief illness at Bluewater Health on Monday, February 27, 2012, Joseph Baxter, age 90, of Sarnia, passed away. He is the dear husband of the late Edna Anne (Johnston) Baxter (2004) and loving father of Mark Stephen Baxter of Sarnia and the late Brian Joseph Baxter (1982), grandfather of Chelsea and Shannon of Sarnia and brother of Hannah Laughlin of Letterkenny, Ireland. Joe was predeceased by 19 brothers and sisters. He retired from Cabot Carbon after many years of service and was a member of the é¢a‚A"Anglican Churchmené¢a‚ and longtime member of St. George's Anglican Church. Funeral services will be held at ALL SAINTS ANGLICAN CHURCH (248 Vidal St., N., Sarnia) on Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may visit at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial gifts to the Canadian Cancer Society, Lambton Lung Association or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
