Paul Aubin

With his family by his side Joseph “Paul” Aubin, age 85 of Corunna passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Bluewater Health. He was the loving husband of Ruby and dear father of Greg (Cheryl), Lori and Lisa (John). Cherished grandfather of Curtis (Sarah), Cody (Kayla), Jamie, Jessie (Jason), Madison, Hannah (Cam), and Kennedy, and great grandfather of Landon, Ainsley, Emmalee, Bella, Layla, Jackson, Stella and Piper. Brother of Brenda (Ivan) Giles of St. Catherines. Born and raised in Sarnia, Paul was a Carpenter and had retired from Polysar after 37 years of service. Paul was loved by many, he was best at taking centre stage to be the life of the party and keeping everyone laughing, but Paul was also kind and generous, volunteering with many charities, such as Operation Christmas Tree, driving the Christmas Train at the Lambton Mall and the neighbourhood watch with the O.P.P. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the many staff at Bluewater Health, especially Marissa and Zack, for taking care of Paul and helping all of us through this difficult journey.

The visitations will be held at the D. J Robb Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 102 N. Victoria St., N7T 5W9 on Friday, August 11, 2023 between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A memorial celebration of Paul’s life will be held at the funeral home on the following day, Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:00 am with Rev. Matthew Stevens officiating.
