Jon Paul Horner

Jon Paul Horner 59, of Point Edward, beloved son of Barbara & the late Clark Horner (2005). Gone too soon. Jon was the adoring father of son Brett & beloved daughter Lyndsay (Jesse Theriault). Grandfather of Tristan & Teegan Horner & grand daughter Cadence Theriault. Remembered by the mother of his children Carla, Jury (Huggett). Jon was predeceased by his partner Alana Nienhuis (2002) and their infant daughter Emma (2002). Survived by loving siblings, sister Beverly (George) Hand & son Zac, brothers Jerry (Lorrie) Horner & his daughter MacKenzie, and Ron (Marilyn) Horner of Pittsburgh & his children Samantha & Sean of Point Edward. Also survived by sister-in-law Becky Wellington-Horner. Jon is survived by a large extended family of many cherished aunts, uncles & cousins who were much a part of his life. Jon was a proud "Point Boy", loved hockey & horses and was a long time member of the United Carpenter's Local 1256; a third generation carpenter with special expertise in the field of Health & Safety. Family & friends will be received Sunday, February 8, 2015, at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE LTD from 7-9 pm for visitation. Funeral services will be held from the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE LTD on Monday, February 9, 2015, at 11:00 a.m.. If desired, donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Sarnia Humane Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
