John Gordon Warnica

Peacefully at Bluewater Health on Thursday January 25, 2018 JOHN GORDON WARNICA age 74 of Sarnia.  Beloved husband of Sandra (Sandy) (VanEvery) Warnica.  Loving father of John Warnica Jr and his wife Beth and Jason Warnica.  Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Matthew and Tyler.  Brother in law of Karen and Harry Haddow and Brenda and Wayne Donald all of Guelph.  He will be missed by special friends Linda and Gerry, and the Six Pack.  Also survived by many cousins in Sarnia, France, Scotland and Australia.  Predeceased by his parents Gordon (1943) and Betty(1997) and a nephew Rod.  John retired from the Sarnia Police after 30 years of service and was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.  Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Sunday January 28^th at 2:00 p.m. at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE.  Private interment to follow at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.  Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Epilepsy Unit of London Health Science Centre, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Sarnia or the charity of  your choice.
