John David Stone

STONE, JOHN – At Bluewater Health on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, John David Stone, age 75 of Corunna passed away. He was the loving husband of 52 year to Shirley Anne (Duffy) Stone and dear father of Paul (Sherry) and Matt (Brooke), a proud Papa of Shala (Pietro), Zoey, Tamara, Casen, Noah, Silas, great grandpa of John and brother in law of Mary DeGurse (Steve). He had retired from Imperial Oil after many years of service. John was a pitcher in the softball leagues as well as a player in the old-timer hockey leagues for many years. He enjoyed and loved his animals. A private service of committal was held at Aamjiwnaang First Nation Cemetery on Monday, September 9th, 2019.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J.
