John Sidorko

It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of JOHN JOSEPH SIDORKO, age 85 at Vision Nursing Home on December 16th. John was a Veteran and POW Survivor of World War II and retired from Dow Chemical after 31 years of loyal service. Beloved husband of Bronislawa (Jaworska) Sidorko and loving father to Anna (Steve) Bitton of Listowel, Rosemary (John) Murphy of North Bay, John (Pat) Sidorko Jr. of Sarnia, Elizabeth (Bill) Tyler of Calgary and Monica (Guy) Ferrari of Banff. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Brother of Saraphina Sawczyk of Belarus and sister-in-law Barbara Jaworska of Poland. A private family Mass of Celebration will be held at Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church. Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to The Victims of Chemical Valley (VOCV) Fund (cheques only please). Funeral arrangements entrusted to the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE.
