John Lindsay

LINDSAY, JOHN RALEIGH , Born March 30, 1947, passed away on May 5, 2009 at Bluewater Health Mitton Site after a short battle with cancer. Beloved husband of the late Carolyn (Campbell) Lindsay. Dear son of Theresa and the late Edward W. (Bub) Lindsay Sr. Brother of the late Edward W. (Dedo) Lindsay Jr., Richard (Debbie), Tony (Robbin) of Port Huron and Brian Lindsay of Detroit. Sisters Yvonne (Julius) Williams, Cheryl (Charles) Lloyd all of Port Huron and Doris Elmore of Detroit. Loving father of Tyson and Lance Lindsay of Sarnia and Dwan Lindsay, Danielle Johnston and Mashawn Easton all of Port Huron. Loving grandfather of Nick, Justin and Cayliegh Lindsay. He will be especially missed by all his family and friends and also missed by Sue, Matt, Korey and Jessica. Johny Boy was an accomplished boxer with may achievements in the sport, especially winning the Golden Gloves. Cremation has taken place. The family would like to invite friends to celebrate the life of John at the Lindsay Residence, 317 S. Vidal Street, on Friday, May 8th between the hours of 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation (cheques only please).
