John Glass

At St. Joseph's Hospice on Monday, January 17, 2011, JOHN WESLEY GLASS, age 87, of Sarnia, beloved husband of the late Marion (Bate) Glass and will be deeply missed by companion and friend Jean Hartman and her entire family. Dear father of Paul Glass of Sarnia. Loving grandfather of Travis and Tracey Glass. Six great grandchildren also survive. Father in law of Lisa Glass. Brother of Joseph Glass of Montana. Predeceased by his son Desmond Glass, brother Charles Glass and sister Ellen Wicks. A retired Brakeman with CNR, John served with the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #62, life member of the Navy Club and Point Edward Ex-Serviceman's Club and a social member of the ECWU, Local #914 Union Hall. Cremation will take place. A celebration of John's life will be held at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION, Branch #62, 286 Front St. N., on Saturday, January 22nd from 1:00 - 4:00 pm.
