Joanne Teele

Peacefully, with Richard by her side, Joanne Teele (nee Tripp), passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at the age of 77. Survived by her partner of 26 years, Richard Koshman, her sister’s Janice Burgess (Wayne) and Evelyn Vincent. Predeceased by her brother Mike Tripp (2002) and her parents Anne and Barclay Tripp. Joanne is survived by many loving family members and friends in British Columbia and Ontario. Joanne was born in Sarnia but knew she was destined for faraway places. Joanne made her way to British Columbia at an early age and had an exemplary career working for the Greater Victoria Hospital Society. It was there in Victoria that she met Richard with whom she resided with for the rest of her life. Joanne retired in 2006 and moved to her hometown Sarnia to spend 15 wonderful years of retirement with Richard and her sister Janice. Joanne loved travelling, swimming at Pathways, genealogy, reading and spending time with her “BOOKIES”.  Private cremation arrangements have taken place.
