Joan Dekelver

Peacefully, with her family by her side at Bluewater Health on Monday, May 14, 2012, JOAN (HARVEY) DEKELVER, age 74, of Sarnia. Survived by Ed Dekelver. Dear mother of Jamie Dekelver (Sarah) of Sarnia, Kathy Dekelver (Brad Huculiak) of Surrey, BC and Tanya Barker (Barry) of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Caralee Larmand (James), Russell, Joshua and Sarah Barker and great nana of Jayden and Callen Larmand. sister of Wanda Short and sister in law of Marian Harvey. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Ruth van der Meer (Maurice), Georgina Sheffield (Norman), Jack Harvey and Marguerite Moyneur (Wilfred). Cremation will take place. A celebration of Joan's life will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Friday, May 18th at 11:00 am. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy may be made through donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
