Suddenly at Norwich on Thursday, June 16, 2011, RICHARD JAMES (JIM) WILKINS, age 80, of Sarnia, beloved husband of Edith Patricia (Marks) Wilkins and the late Connie (Jolly) Wilkins. Dear father of Wayne Wilkins (Sue) of Bright's Grove, Dean Wilkins (Linda) and Lori Wilkins (John) all of Sarnia. Step-father of Patricia MacQueen of Belgrave, Clifford White (Cynthia) of London, Mary Wood of Wallaceburg and Dennis White (Cindy) of Granton. Dear brother of Sandra Weatherstone (Don) and brother-in-law of Mary, Barb and Chris Wilkins and Helen Thomas. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by a grandson J. R. Wood and 4 brothers John, Ernest, Carl and Donald Wilkins. A lifelong Sarnia area resident, Mr. Wilkins was a retired C.N. Conductor. He was a member of C.N. Pensioners Sarnia, 4 T's R.V. Group and Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 388, Wyoming. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Monday, June 20 th. at 1:00 p.m. with Angela MacDonald officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon and evening from the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Charity of Choice (cheques only please).
