Sorounded by his family at St. Joseph's Hospice on Saturday December 25, 2010 JEREMIAS (JERRY) MELO age 58 of Sarnia. Beloved husband of Janet Melo. Loving father of Matthew Melo of London. Dear brother of Fernanda Aguiar and her husband Mr. Joe of Sarnia, brother in law to Filomenia and the late Jose Cabral of Sarnia and Octavia Ortiz and her husband Hugo of London. Son in law to Eileen and the late Leonard (2010) Maikrzek of Ubly, MI. Brother in law of Richard (Rose) Maikrzek, Ubly, MI, Michéƒ el (Jean) Maikrzek, Troy, MI, Gary (Beckie) Maikrzek, Houghton Lake, MI, Karen (Dewey) Lemaster, Louisa, KY, Paula (Dennis) Romzek, Minden City, MI, Kathy (Gary) Rifenbark, Bad Axe, MI, Deborah (Bill) Cleland, Bad Axe, MI, Kenneth (Laura) Maikrzek, Bad Axe, MI and Lisa (Ken) Kokotovich, Macomb, MI. Predeceased by his parents Jacinto and Maria. Loved Padrinho, Godfather, Uncle, Jer-Ber and é¢a‚A"Bé¢a‚ to many godchildren, neices and nephews. Mr. Melo was a well known local business owner of Custom Plumbing since 1991, a member of the Knights of Columbus council #11164 at St. Benedict's Church and was a member and Past Vice-President of Sarnia-Lambton Master Plumber's Association. Resting at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE where the family will receive friends on Tuesday December 28th from the hours of 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday December 29th at 10:30 a.m. from St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church with Father Jim Higgins officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. Prayers will be offered Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm. Please, please, please, in lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Joseph's Hospice. Special thanks to Dr. Maddison and the staff and volunteers at St. Joseph's Hospice for a the wonderful care and loving support they provided to Jerry.
