COUTU, JEANNINE – At Afton Park Nursing Home on Tuesday, It is with regret that we say good bye to our mother. She is in a better place after battling COPD for several years. Until she started showing symptoms of the disease she was a vibrant woman and always on the go. She was generous with her time to those in need. She moved to Sarnia from Joliette Quebec in 1975 and raised her four children on her own never having remarried after separating from her husband Reginald Coutu. She is survived by her four children Real Coutu, Claudette Ruffo (late husband Grenville), Debb Fazio (Gino) and Patrick (Renee) and her partner Allen Duffy and their dog Lucie. She will be dearly missed by her two grand-children Ronell Douglas Austin and Resse Coutu. A celebration of Jeannine's life will be held at the St. Clair Community Church, 3450 John St. in Sombra on Sunday, September 22nd, 2019 at 2:00 pm and followed by a "Social Glass of Wine" at Big Fish Restaurant, 1717 London Line, Sarnia, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. In keeping with Jeannine’s traditions she would not ask you to make a memorial donation but rather find someone in need and give them some help. The arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J.
