James Patrick Murphy

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospice, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday January 29, 2015, JAMES PATRICK MURPHY, age 86 of Sarnia. Predeceased by his beloved wife Velma (Jean) Murphy (2007), survived by his wife Sheila Murphy, predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Hugh. His beloved brothers Hugh, Howard, Roy. Dear sisters Norma, Helen, Mary and two baby sisters. He will be dearly missed by his Daughters Debra (Terry), Patricia (Rudy) and Susan (James). Grandfather of several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by his brother, John of Sarnia, and sister Edith of Sarnia. He was a Member of the local CEPU and worked at Fiberglas in the Water Treatment Plant for 49 years from 1946-1995. Family and friends will be received at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE on Sunday February 1, 2015 at 11:30am until time of service. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Sunday February 1, 2015 at 12:30pm with cremation to follow. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Joseph's Hospice and would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE.
