James Edwin Lightfoot

At Bluewater Health in Sarnia on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, JAMES EDWIN LIGHTFOOT, age 84 of Sarnia passed away. He was the devoted husband of Frances (Morris) Lightfoot, dear father of Brad Lightfoot, Scott Lightfoot and his wife Monica and Paul Lightfoot and his wife Suzanne, grandfather of Amy, Tim, Eric and Jacob. Jim was born in Clarkson, ON. and graduated from the University of Toronto in Chemical Engineering in 1954. He was a lifelong employee of Polysar in Sarnia. A graveside service of committal will be held at Spring Creek Cemetery (1390 Clarkson Rd. N., Mississauga) on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON.) Memorial gifts made in memory of Jim through donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre of Sarnia in co-ordination with the Glen Oaks Funeral Home of Oakville.
