LEWIS, JAMES – On Monday, July 3, 2017, James Lessly Lewis, age 69 of Sarnia passed away as a result of a fall at home. He was the dear husband of the late Myrella (Cloutier) Lewis (1985) and Patricia Anne (Hutchinson) Lewis (2009). He was the loving father of James Lewis (Kim) and step-father of Jennifer and Pamela, grandfather of Corey, Jayden and Julia, brother of Carol Lewis, Connie Breyer, Helen Datema (Rudy), Donna Lewis, Ken Lewis, Mark Lewis (Debbie) and Tammy Bueschleb. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He was predeceased by his parents Roy and Rose and his brother Tim. Jim was born in Sarnia and retired from Chrysler Canada (Holmes Foundry) after many years of service. He also drove a taxi for United Cab Company. He had a faith in the Jehovah’s Witness. He was very close to his mother Rose and took care of her in her later years. His last day was spent enjoying the perfect weather in the back yard with loved ones celebrating the marriage of his son and new daughter in law. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit with the family at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Friday, July 7, 2016 beginning at 12:30 pm.
