McCLUGHAN

Peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday August 3, 2016 ISABELLA (ISA) GRAHAM (ROBERTSON) McCLUGHAN age 83 of Sarnia.  Beloved wife of the late Robert McClughan (2003).  Loving mum of Bruce McClughan and his wife Karen, Shelagh Boss and her husband Rick, Douglas McClughan and his wife Catherine and Moira Fletcher (Dennis Curts).  Cherished Granny to Josh, Ryan,  Tyler, Carly, Sarah and Kevin.  Dear sister of  Graham Robertson.  Also survived by sisters in law, cousins, nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents William and Ellen and a sister Wilma.  Isa was born in Glasgow, Scotland  and was a proud survivor of air raids over that city during WWII.  She immigrated to Canada with her family in the early 1950’s where she met Bob and married him on August 28,1954.  While raising 4 children she enjoyed  many hobbies and crafts including paper tole, cake decorating, knitting and was an amazing cook.  She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren and extended family.  As per mum’s wishes there will be no service.  Private cremation arrangements entrusted to the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE.  The family would like to thank Dr. Spano and his staff, the doctors, nurses and staff at Bluewater Health 4th floor Telemetry, Emergency Room staff and EMTs for their care and compassion.  Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donation to Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
