Isaac Hill

Peacefully at Bluewater Health on Monday, June 18, 2012, ISAAC (IKE) ROBINSON Hill, age 82 of Sarnia passed away. He was the loving husband of the late Jacqueline é¢a‚A"Jackieé¢a‚ Joanne (Strangway) Hill, (2005). He is survived and will be sadly missed by his sister Agnes Haywood and husband Douglas of Sarnia and his brother Garnet Hill and his wife Ruth of Vancouver. Brother-in-law of Shirley Gibson of Sarnia, Donald Strangway of Corunna, Duncan Wilkinson of Courtright, Ronald Strangway and wife Bonnie of Oil Springs and cousin Raymond Dennis and his wife Fran of London. Several nieces and nephews will greatly miss their Uncle Ike. He was predeceased by his parents Agnes and Robby Hill, his brother Roy and his wife Carol Hill and his sister in law Mary Wilkinson. Ike retired from Imperial Oil after 30 years of service and was a long time member of the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club. Ike has a large circle of friends from his days at Imperial Oil, golf at the Sarnia Golf Club, his Thursday night dinners and the winters he spent at his condo in Florida. A celebration of Ike's life will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (Victoria at Davis St.) on Tuesday, June 26th at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
